Huawei KDay 2019
As one of the headline sponsors of one of SA’s largest music festvals Huawei Kday, Huawei launched a social media competition to rank all images posted on social media on a live leaderboard projected onto a screen at the event. As thousands of mentions streamed in, images were automatically ranked for reach and engagement and winners were displayed on the screen.
Integration of multiple sources of social media was used in conjunction with a bespoke system for analyzing and filtering any mentions deemed inappropriate.
